Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy informs users of the OmniDrive service (the “Service”) how Arlamel Tech s.r.o. (the “Controller”) processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and related laws of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.
1. Controller
The controller of personal data is:
Arlamel Tech s.r.o.
Nové sady 988/2, Staré Brno, 602 00 Brno
Company ID (IČO): 30001153 · VAT ID (DIČ): CZ30001153
Společnost je zapsána v obchodním rejstříku vedeném Krajským soudem v Brně, oddíl C, vložka 153709.
Email: support@omnidrive.eu
The Service is available primarily on the website https://omnidrive.eu and in the application at https://app.omnidrive.eu.
2. What personal data we process
Depending on how you use the Service, we may process in particular:
- Identification and contact data – name, email address, and where applicable company details (business name, company ID) provided in the account.
- Vehicle and trip data – vehicle identification, fuel consumption, fuel type, route records, kilometres, odometer, and related supporting documents (e.g. receipts).
- Location data (GPS) – coordinates and timestamps obtained during active tracking.
- Technical and operational data – device type, app version, error logs, and security records needed to operate the Service.
- Billing data – data needed to issue invoices and manage licenses (excluding payment card details — see below).
3. Location data (GPS)
The application processes location data (GPS) solely to record trips and generate a trip logbook, calculate travel reimbursements, and related reports. We do not collect location for marketing profiling, nor do we provide it to third parties for advertising purposes.
The application may require access to location in the background (Background Location) when automatic trip recording is enabled (e.g. when connecting to a vehicle’s Bluetooth or when the app is minimised with the screen off).
Tracking runs to the extent activated by the user (e.g. during a business trip). Without consent to process location, or without system permission to access location, GPS tracking features cannot be provided.
4. Purpose and legal basis of processing
We process personal data primarily for these purposes:
- providing the Service, trip records, reimbursement calculations, and report exports — legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- license invoicing and compliance with legal obligations — legal basis: legal obligation and performance of a contract;
- security, abuse prevention, and technical reliability — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- customer support communication — legal basis: performance of a contract or legitimate interest.
5. Data storage and cloud infrastructure
Data is stored securely in the Firebase (Google) cloud infrastructure with privacy in mind. We design the Service with an offline-first approach: some data may be temporarily stored locally on the user’s device and synchronised with the server when a connection is available.
The Controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration.
6. Payments and Stripe
Payment transactions are processed exclusively by the payment provider Stripe. The Controller does not store any payment card details (card numbers, CVC, or data needed to authorise a payment). Stripe may process payment data as an independent controller or as a processor under its own terms and privacy policy.
7. Recipients and processors
Personal data may be made available to verified processors who help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting/Firebase, Stripe payment gateway, email communication), solely to the extent necessary and under contractual safeguards. We may also disclose data to public authorities where required by law.
8. Retention period
We retain data for the duration of the user account and provision of the Service. After account deletion or exercise of the right to erasure, we delete or anonymise the data unless legal rules (e.g. accounting and tax laws) require us to keep selected documents longer.
9. User rights
The user has the full right:
- of access to the personal data we process about them;
- to export data from the application (e.g. reports, trip records) in a commonly used format, where the Service allows it;
- to be forgotten — deletion of the account and routes, as well as related personal data, unless another legal ground requires further processing;
- to rectification of inaccurate data, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability under the GDPR;
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic the Office for Personal Data Protection; in Slovakia the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic).
Requests concerning data subject rights should be sent to support@omnidrive.eu. We will respond without undue delay and within the time limits under the GDPR.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
The website and application may use essential technical cookies or local storage to enable login, security, and basic functionality. If we use analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will inform you and obtain consent where required by law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with the update date. For material changes we may also notify you by email or via an in-app notice.
12. Contact
For questions about personal data protection, contact us at support@omnidrive.eu.
